From 2010 to 2020, over the past decade, what innovations have composite materials brought us? And what changes have they made to our current lives?

In the traditional composite material market for aerospace, the Boeing 787 entered service in 2011, while the Airbus A350 XWB—equipped with similar composite materials—was launched in 2015. Bombardier's C-Series narrow-body aircraft, whose composite material wings are manufactured via resin infusion, began service in 2016. Later, Airbus acquired the C-Series product line in 2018 and renamed it the A220. Unfortunately, in 2019, Airbus, the European aviation manufacturing giant, announced that due to order cuts from major customers, it had decided to discontinue the production of the A380 superjumbo jet and complete the delivery of all A380 orders by 2021.
