BYD Automotive Composite Battery Case
Project delivery: 400 sets per batch; Production cycle: 20 days

The company has been shortlisted in BYD's new energy vehicle supplier system and is currently carrying out related composite material projects. The annual demand for composite battery cases used in BYD's new energy vehicles stands at 700,000 sets.
Carbon Fiber Engine Hood

A metal engine hood weighs approximately 15 kg, while a carbon fiber engine hood weighs only 9 kg. According to experimental calculations, for every 10% reduction in vehicle weight, the following improvements are achieved:
Automotive fuel consumption decreases by 6% to 8%;
0-100 km/h acceleration performance improves by approximately 9%;
Braking distance shortens by 3 to 8 meters;
Exhaust emissions reduce by 5% to 6%.
Additionally, the lower center of gravity also enhances the vehicle's handling stability.

The greatest advantage of carbon fiber wheelsets lies in weight reduction. Compared with aluminum alloy wheelsets, their weight can be reduced by an additional 20%. However, their mechanical properties are in no way inferior to those of metals—they are even better. This provides significant room for vehicle optimization and improves vehicle operating efficiency. Additionally, compared with metals, carbon fiber has a noise damping capacity that is 870% higher and is less prone to resonant frequencies. This allows automakers to reduce the use of dense sound insulation materials, thereby further reducing the overall weight of the vehicle.

For the hollow structure of the spokes, solid silicone rubber blocks are used for filling. Silicone rubber has the highest thermal expansion coefficient among various rubbers; when heated from room temperature to approximately 150°C, its volume expands by around 8%, enabling the compaction of materials.
A piece of breathable felt is inserted into the pre-embedded nylon bag. It serves two purposes: first, to ensure air conduction; second, its certain thickness helps reserve a margin for layering.
The curing pressure is increased to 0.8–0.9 MPa to generate greater force for inflating the airbag.
